Our flagship community campaign — facilitators, banners, drawing exercises and open conversation bring the Constitution of Zimbabwe to neighbourhoods across Chitungwiza and beyond.
Picture My Rights is JCC's flagship community campaign. Facilitators set up banners in public spaces — school grounds, community halls, open fields — and walk residents through the Constitution of Zimbabwe in plain language.
Drawing exercises, open Q&A, and one-on-one conversation help turn a legal document into something people can see themselves in, under the hashtag #KnowYourConstitution.
A facilitator walks a group of children through the campaign banner, explaining what the Constitution says about their rights.
Hands go up — a Q&A moment during a constitutional-literacy session for younger participants.
Between sessions — the facilitation team regroups under a tree to plan the next activity.
A running log for this activity. Add a new dated entry each time something changes — a repeat session, new numbers, a new photo set.
Picture My Rights remains JCC's core, recurring activity — sessions are added to the gallery above as they happen.
We're always planning our next stop — schools, churches and community halls are all welcome to host a session.
