Chapter 05 — Meetings

What to expect once you join

Held once a year, towards the end of our financial year (November). The Executive Board reports on the year's achievements, treasury reports are read, and members vote on any proposed changes to the constitution.

Held once every two months, bringing together the Executive Board, Standing Committee and general membership to work through standard organisational business.

Once approved, members can get involved through one of five departments: Legal Affairs; Gender; Women, Children & People Living with Disability; Information, Networking, Relations & Social Welfare; and Coordination & Projects.

All members, clients, partners and advisors are governed by our code of conduct, which is approved by a two-thirds majority of the governing board and always reads consistently with the constitution.
